The role you'll contribute:

Contributes towards the delivery of quality health care with a concern for the well-being of those served. Provides high quality patient care by performing intake assessment, determining diagnosis, developing and maintaining a treatment plan, concurrent reviews and discharge planning for patients in the Behavioral Health Program. Therapy may include individual, family, couples or group counseling as appropriate, using clinically sound and evidence-based practices as current with Colorado State Mental Health laws, regulatory agencies, and Centura policies and standards of care.

  • Demonstrates critical thinking in delivery of assessment, crisis intervention, treatment planning, implementation, evaluation, and monitoring of quality care to meet patient needs.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking in the delivery of all EAP Interventions, such as Workshops, Training, Mediation, Team Effectiveness, Trauma, Drug and Alcohol, Management Services, etc.
  • Facilitates individual, group and family therapy as well as psycho-educational groups to promote patient emotional, spiritual, and psychological health.
  • Communicates and collaborates with family members and other care givers regarding the plan of care for the patient.


Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
  • Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field
  • Competence with DSM diagnostic criteria and treatment planning.
  • Demonstrates clinical and ethical professionalism, conflict resolution and critical thinking skills.
  • EAP knowledge and experience, preferred for EAP program positions.
