Description:
Behavioral Health Nurse - FT Days - Piedmont Rockdale

Seeking a compassionate, highly-motivated behavioral health nurse to care for patients with psychiatric illnesses in an emergency department while they await discharge or transfer for inpatient stabilization.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of a nursing program

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
2 years in working with behavioral health patients in an emergency department or inpatient psychiatric setting.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current License in the State of Georgia as a RN or LPN or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable. Bachelor's degree preferred. Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred.
ACLS, PALS, NIH and GSCC within six months of hire
