Schedule: Full-Time

Shift: Night's 6:45 pm to 7:15 am

Location: East Rollins ST Orlando, FL

The role you'll contribute:
  • Assists patients with activities of daily living (ADL)
  • Provides or assists with providing direct patient care, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic interventions
  • Observes and records patient behaviors and activities
  • Reports changes in patient conditions to appropriate personnel and recommends treatment plan modifications
  • Establishes therapeutic relationships with assigned patients
  • Works directly with patients, family members, physicians, and community providers to ensure collaborative and continuous care
  • May be required to manage daily group activities
  • Assists patients to perform routine activities of daily living
  • Recognizes potential escalation of behavior and has ability to use appropriate verbal and physical interventions
  • Recognizes potential safety hazards, intervenes for the safety of patients, visitors and staff and notifies appropriate department or person for correction of the problem
  • Assists in restraint situations: utilizing de-escalation skills to prevent restraints, applying restraints when needed with RN direction, maintaining patient safety, appropriate documentation of patient behaviors and interventions
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Qualifications
REQUIRED:

• BLS certification - must be obtained within 90 days of employment

• CNA certification if state applicable

• Formal De-escalation Training - must be obtained within 90 days of employment

Required Education:

High School Diploma Or equivalent
