Requirements

• High school plus higher education coursework
• Certification - RBT preferred
• 1 - 3 years relevant experience

We are seeking a Behavior Health Technician to join our team at our programs in Carlisle, PA.

Position Details

Behavioral Health Technicians provide one-on-one interventions to a child or adolescent at home, school, and/or community setting when the behavior without this intervention would require a more restrictive treatment or educational setting.

Work Location(s): School, community, or home setting.

• Implements a behavior modification treatment plan targeting the recommendations from the psychological evaluation.
• Utilizes prescribed interventions as needed when the child exhibits problematic behaviors in each particular setting.
• Implements and models intervention techniques for members of the treatment team to stabilize the child or adolescent.
• Collaborates with all members of the treatment team and professionals working in the home or other community settings, including the family.
• Documents behavioral and program data during sessions from each environment; maintains progress notes for every billable contact or as required by regulatory and program guidelines.
• Maintains contact with the case-specific treatment team.
• Submits payroll weekly or as directed by the supervisor, including all county-specific paperwork required with each weekly submission.
• Receives scheduled supervision from an assigned clinical supervisor.
• Attends training as required and completes the necessary training hours per fiscal year.
• May perform other related duties as required or assigned.
