What You'll Do:
Works under clinical supervision and requires considerable knowledge of behavioral healthcare programs and program techniques & is a member of a sex offender team.
• As a member of a sex offender team, is responsible for sex offender interventions for a caseload of assigned offenders
• Completes screenings and assessments
• Conducts group & sex offender interventions as prescribed on the individual in-program assessment using evidence based correctional program intervention strategies within their scope of practice and as directed by supervision
• Writes reports and maintains necessary data documents to satisfy requirements of federal, state and local agencies
• Enters documentation in electronic health record of all inmate encounters and contacts
• Completes miscellaneous forms and reports as needed per policy and protocol
• Completes transfer and discharge summaries
• Consults with other institution staff regarding the sex offender caseload, inmate's institutional adjustment and service needs
• Attends meetings of sex offender program supervision
• Attends in-service training and workshops for professional development
Starting pay is approximately $52,000 based on location.
DRC is a "qualifying employer" for purposes of the federal Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness program.
