Job Summary:
Position responsibilitie
· Services a designated book of business as relating to marketing, assisting with claim issues, and day to day administration
· Researches issues’ root cause, implements, and resolves policy related issue
· Uses discretion and independent judgment when analyzing industry trends and providing related Client guidance.
· Recommends and implements potential enhancements or improvements to processes, products, and/or policie
· Facilitates vendor quotes, amendments, and reinstatements for requested changes as needed
· Ensures complete Client information is in data warehouse (BenefitPoint) to ensure data integrity, accuracy and completeness.
· Conducts, creates, and interprets benefit benchmarking studies, design plan comparison reports, and Client presentation material
· Interprets Clients’ current coverage plan and identifies and recommends opportunities to expand lines of coverage
· Engages in Client strategy meetings to manage insured expectations for upcoming term
· Develops and assists with presenting marketing and renewal terms to Client
· Participates in negotiations with carriers for new and renewal quote
· Establishes and maintains relationships and interfaces with Clients, carriers, and other vendor
· Communicate on a professional level with insurance carriers and other vendors to address client issues in a manner that produces optimum results in a timely fashion.
· Prepare and release RFP to appropriate market
· Identifies gaps in coverage or cross-sell opportunities and provides related recommendations to AE/Producer
· Overall responsibility for managing updates to Client employee facing communication
· Prepare open enrollment presentations, Brainshark recordings and conduct enrollment meeting
· Oversee 5500 preparation by the annual deadline
· Researches and understands industry trends and Carrier product offerings and emerging trend
· Knowledge of governmental compliance/regulations to educate Client and respond to client inquirie
· Mentors and trains junior-level staff
· Performs other responsibilities and duties as needed
Requirements:
Position qualification
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalent
• Typically 3+ years of related Client services experience is required
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills required
• Demonstrates strong working knowledge and experience within brokerage industry
• Understands industry trends and governmental regulation
• Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed
• Ability to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training session
• Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of Client and company information
• Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadline
• Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft
• Ability to use office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, calculator, and photocopier
• Ability to work on a computer for a prolonged amount of time
• Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed
• Legally able to work in the United State
