General Description

The Beverage Production Team's main task is to produce many of the beverages served throughout our restaurants. These Team Members are critical in maintaining quality and consistency.

In order to be successful, a Beverage Production Team Member must possess the knowledge and ability to follow beverage recipes and prepare beverage items accurately. This individual should be well-versed in traditional Mexican cocktails, distilled spirits and other beverages.

Work Duties
  • Set up and break down production station daily
  • Maintain the production area in a neat, clean and sanitary fashion
  • Prepare all beverage items according to recipe and food safety guidelines
  • Document safety and sanitation procedures through daily logs
  • Maintain proper levels of essential beverage items for all bars
  • Receive and properly store orders for beverage production
  • Work with Bar Production Manager to ensure proper par levels of all production items are maintained
  • Complete all assigned opening and closing duties
  • Display proper food safety procedures at all times
  • Follow all necessary laws and processes for the safe service of alcohol
  • Work closely with all other team members and display good teamwork
  • Follow the Disney 5-Keys Basics, Service Basics and Company Guidelines at all times
  • All other tasks as assigned

Position Requirements

Work Experience & Education Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of food & beverage experience preferred
  • Previous experience in bartending or bar beverage production a plus
  • Experience with and/or training in Mexican spirits, cocktails and beverages a plus
  • Must have or be able to obtain a State of Florida Food Safety Certificate
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Florida Responsible Vendors Certificate
  • Must be well versed in food safety - including proper techniques for handling food and personal hygiene requirements
  • Must be well versed in laws and company practices regarding the safe and legal service of alcoholic beverages
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to perform all necessary job functions
  • Must be able to stand and be mobile for up to 4 consecutive hours
  • Must be able to function in narrow spaces, such as those found in kitchens and dining rooms
  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment/food up to 50 pounds
  • Must possess dexterity in lifting and carrying trays and other restaurant items
  • Must be able to push and pull (carts, doors etc.)
  • Must be able to reach, bend, kneel, stoop and crouch
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks
  • Must be able to complete work duties in a variety of environmental conditions, including coolers, freezers, kitchen environments and outdoors
  • Must be able to operate a golf cart
  • Must be able to work with foods containing various food allergens
  • Must be able to communicate and interact politely and effectively with guests of all types
  • Must be able to effectively satisfy guest demands
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be fluent in the English language
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to arrive for all assigned shifts on-time
  • Must be able to comply company appearance guidelines
