One of our largest technology clients seeks a remote BI Engineer to drive efficiency and innovation across a product lifecycle by optimizing how product data is authored, managed, and consumed. This role focuses on developing and implementing solutions to streamline data workflows, enhance data accuracy, and improve collaboration across teams. This individual will be a key technical expert, responsible for analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and designing and deploying solutions that leverage technology to achieve business goals. They will be responsible to design, implement, and maintain systems for collecting and analyzing data. They will also transform data, aggregate into metrics, and create dashboards to efficiency represent the data and derive insights.

Responsibilities:
This role provides hands-on development of solutions that improve data accessibility and usability across the organization.
Analyze existing data processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Design, develop, and deploy technical solutions that address identified challenges, including:
Building user interfaces (UIs) for efficient data entry and visualization.
Automating data collection, validation, and reporting.
Developing dashboards to track key metrics, project status, and "should cost" data.
Creating chatbots to provide quick access to product information and project updates.
Integrating with existing systems such as Buganizer, STEAM, State of Sites, AO Docs, and PLM.
Champion the adoption of new technologies and best practices in data management.
Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, manufacturing, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure solutions align with business requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience as an engineer or solutions architect, focused in data management or process automation
Proven ability to design, develop, and implement complex technical solutions in a rapidly evolving environment.
Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, and data governance principles.
Experience with Google App Maker & Buganizer
Experience with GCP components such as App Engine, Apps Script, CloudSQL, and BigQuery
Strong coding expertise in SQL& Python,
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
JavaScript, Java, HTML5, and CSS
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to data management.
Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360 API, and AO Docs API, Buganizer, Google App Maker
