We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist to join our Human Resources department. Responsible for managing all human resource programsassociated with the Riverbend site including but not limited to, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, benefits and training. Manage and execute all HR initiatives associated with site.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Recruit for all positions at the site.
  • Plan and facilitate new employee orientation in English and Spanish.
  • Manage the on-boarding process, including I-9 documents, E-Verify, and explaining benefits available.
  • Maintain accurate employee files and input data into HRIS system.
  • Functions as the time clock administrator for site, provide timesheet assistance and review timesheets prior to payroll transmittal.
  • Identify training and development to drive team member engagement and performance.
  • Coach supervisors and managers in performance management.
  • Investigate, document and resolve employee complaints using best practices.
  • Develop, organize and promote Employee Recognition programs and events.
  • Facilitate and track site specific trainings.
  • Ensure weekly Employee Scorecards are completed and review results with department managers.
  • Support weekly labor planning and reports for Site Manager.
  • Assist in benefit enrollment of eligible employees and answer employee benefit questions.
  • Promote a safe work environment and coordinates site safety programs.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
  • May supervise an HR Assistant position.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • 3-5 years experience in Human Resources
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Human Resources generalist experience with emphasis on recruiting and employee relations.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • HRIS experience preferred.
  • HR Certification preferred.
  • Bilingual. English and Spanish required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Work in both an office and warehouse environment.
  • Office environment, long hours sitting in front of a computer.

PAY RANGE: $65,000 - $80,000 per year

Pay rate is determined by various components including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The pay rate is one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards vary by position and location.
