Our client is a well-respected pediatric group dedicated to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for children and families from all backgrounds. They are seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to join their team at multiple school-based locations in Aurora, CO.

Job Description:

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting healthcare providers by performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks. This is a full-time, permanent position with the opportunity for long-term growth within a dynamic pediatric setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record patient medical histories and vital signs.
• Administer vaccines and perform phlebotomy.
• Assist healthcare providers during exams.
• Manage patient registration, scheduling, and check-ins.
• Answer phones and maintain medical records.
• Operate medical devices such as pulse oximetry, glucose monitors, and nebulizers.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Medical Assistant Diploma or Certificate.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical Assistant experience.
• BLS/CPR Certification.
• Experience with EMR systems (Athena preferred).
• Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.

Additional Details:

• Parking: Free open lot available.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional Saturday half days.
• Interview Process: Initial phone or virtual screening followed by an in-person interview/shadowing session.
