•Performs hospital patient account functions including, reconciling accounts, claims generation, and/or paper claims submission, claims denial and credit balance resolution.
•Reviews, monitors and resolves issues involving fee schedule/contractual allowances, and calculations required for hospital patient account management.
•Provides good explanations regarding statements and insurance coverage.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
•Ensures documentation meets current standards and policies.

Skills/Educational Requirements: •Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
•Good Personal Skills
•Good understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, HMO's, PPO's, and private companies.
