To coordinate billing and collection; auditing and billing compliance; and physician/staff education of coding and billing issues. To develop and coordinate implementation of clinic policies and procedures for assigned area. To coordinate program activities and functions. To conduct special projects related to the office's administrative/clinical operations. Serves as master scheduler; Reviews O&P accounts and process inpatient and outpatient insurance precertification's along with submits inpatient billing for O&P and SRC Clinics.

Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma/GED. Three years' experience in a medical office setting required.

Some college preferred; Proficient in Word and Excel; medical terminology and knowledge of insurance policies are desirable.

LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:
Preferred:Certified medical coder fluent in medical terminology
