Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced candidate that will be working in a hospital system as a billing and follow up specialist. They will be responsible for ensuring all claims are submitted timely and accurately plus handle denials and appeals. This candidate will work with large payers and their portals plus work with Medicare/Medicaid. Additionally, this candidate will handle special claims, bill secondary insurance, and print/request medical records.

Required Skills & Experience
High School Diploma/GED
Hospital billing experience specifically for Medicare or Medicare advantage plans
Will also accept Medicaid or commercial hospital billing experience and their electronic portals (Availaity, Navinet, etc.)
Experience with denials and appeals
UB 04 form experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience using SSI billing system
Knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT codes
Physician billing experience
Allscripts or AM/PFM
