A large Hospital in the San Diego area is looking for a remote Billing and Reimbursement Specialist to join their team to support an upcoming project. The Reimbursement Specialist is responsible for billing and collections of outstanding account balances for commercial, government, and managed care payors as assigned. It is a requirement for the Reimbursement Specialist to make sure that the claims are clean and delivery tickets are accurate. Additionally this individual is responsible for inputting data into the systems, manually uploading claims, following up with AR and the payer to confirm receipt. Lastly if the claim is denied, the individual is responsible for resolving the issue themselves. This position is a 3 month contract with possible extension M-F 8:00am-4:30pm and can be done in a hybrid or remote setting. Equipment will be provided.

Required Skills & Experience

3 years of experience in home care pharmacy billing preferably in Commercial

Experience with HMO, PPO, capitated payers, Medicaid managed care payers

Experience with 340B guidelines and reg, factor drug billing, compound drug, TPN

Microsoft, outlook, teams, excel, word

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with CPR+
