Ensure the efficient use of clinical equipment within the hospital by performing safety checks, repairs, calibrations, and preventive maintenance to patient monitors, EEG machines, EKG machines, OR monitors, electro surgical units, defibrillators, transport incubators and numerous other clinical instruments. Performs safety inspections of incoming equipment. Provides assistance to nurses, technicians, and users of clinical equipment in case of technical and/or operational problems.

Qualifications

Education: High school graduate, GED or 3 years relevant experience. Post high school vocational/specialized training.

Experience: A minimum of four years' experience in the repair of medical equipment is required. Electrician with electronic knowledge and experience in medical equipment repairs is required.
