Description

The Department of Medicine is seeking to hire a skilled Biostatistician. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and leveraging computational tools to analyze and interpret biological or other research data. You'll utilize and enhance algorithms, computational techniques, and statistical methodologies while contributing to the design of new experiments. Additionally, you'll play a key role in meeting end-user needs by integrating database searching and maintaining computational infrastructure. You'll also oversee the flow of samples and information for large-scale studies and provide web-based bioinformatics solutions and access to public and proprietary databases. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in the application of multivariate statistical analysis and expert-level technical competence using R software/programming.
