Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Hospitalist Opportunity

The Cincinnati Children's Hospital is seeking a full-time Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Hospitalist to provide supportive care to pediatric and young adult patients admitted to the inpatient units. While an oncology background is not required, preference is given to general pediatric-trained or med/peds physicians. The BMT hospitalist will collaborate with the attending BMT physician to provide day-to-day care to patients in the BMT inpatient unit and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible care for patients. The Bone Marrow Transplantation and Immune Deficiency Program at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is a national and international pioneer in innovative uses of blood and marrow transplantation, having performed over 2200 transplants in its twenty-plus year history. The BMT program is also a leader in transplantation for immunodeficiency and histiocytic disorders.

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is one of the top pediatric hospitals in the country, known for its medical research and teaching. Qualifications:

Requirements for eligible applicants:

• MD/DO or equivalent

• Completed a Pediatric, Med/Peds, or Internal Medicine Residency,

• Able to obtain an unrestricted Ohio Medical License.

• Appropriate medical credentialing through Cincinnati Children's Medical Staff Service

• Completion of all HR-required pre-employment activities (screening, background check, and orientation)

Board-certified or Board-Eligible pediatric physicians are preferred.
