System One is assisting a small CPA firm in Tulsa with a search for a Bookkeeper to join their Accounting Services Team. Will work with multiple clients handling day-to-day and monthly accounting activities.

Salary: $50K - $60K (Depending on Experience)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports for multiple companies
- Ensure all books are current and accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis
- Enter and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Process payroll periodically based on various companies' pay schedules ensuring information is entered accurately and timely
- Assist with the month-end close process and help pull financial statements together
- Prepare business tax returns for sales & use taxes as well as property taxes
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience
- Associates degree in accounting preferred or equivalent experience
- Proficient in Excel and accounting computer systems
- Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail with ability to meet deadlines working efficiently and effectively
- Team player who works well with individuals at all levels
- Must have fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Ability to work with minimal supervision taking ownership of areas of responsibility
- Excellent customer service skills with a can-do attitude
