Who we're looking for: 3d New England is looking to bring on a Full-Time Manager to accommodate the growing New England market and demand. This role is multi-faceted, requiring a wide range of skills and extensive lacrosse knowledge and experience. This role will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and executing a wide variety of tasks and events to support the market and existing 3d New England team throughout the year. This role is hybrid, located in Woburn, MA, however, requires frequent travel (30%) and includes weekends and evenings. This position will report to our 3d New England Director.

Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of relevant playing experience, college level preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant coaching experience, college level preferred
  • Extensive lacrosse knowledge and I.Q., as well as motivation and an open mind in regard to continuing education
  • Demonstrated success in developing young athletes, both on and off the field
  • Organizational and operational excellence, proficiency in Microsoft programming is a must
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written), with coworkers, parents, and athletes
  • Due to the non-traditional nature of this role and frequent travel required, this individual must be self-motivated and highly autonomous
  • Passion for growing the game and business

Role Responsibilities:
  • Assists in the day-to-day business operations and related activities of the market
  • Assists the director in the development and implementation of short- and long-term strategies for the market to support continued growth
  • Builds sustainable relationships of trust with parents, coaches, players, vendors and employees with clear, honest communication, empathy and compassion, diligence, and politeness
  • Builds, improves, and retains a customer base
  • Assists with hiring and training qualified coaching staff
  • Coaches and conducts training for Select, town/travel teams, workshops and camps
  • Works with differing attitudes, personalities and goals, of teams, players, parents and coaches
  • Holds players accountable and requires sportsmanlike conduct at all times
  • Contributes to program agendas and implements a program curriculum, utilizing and referencing provided methodology as guidance
  • Makes expert recommendations to maximize player's experience
  • Reviews office, player and coach databases, lists, and files to ensure completeness
  • Present on the field for practices and training
  • Stays up to date on collegiate recruiting process at a national level and maintain relationships with college recruiters in all Divisions, provides personalized recruiting support for high school players
  • Delivers a superior training experience to players and families not only through coaching, but also by offering a wealth of knowledge, tools and resources designed to enrich and educate the players and families
