In this position Broker Agent Svc Sr Analyst you will play a key role in supporting Medicare & Retirement Agent On-Boarding by analyzing customer and partner needs, developing solutions that align with the vision of the team, and supporting program-level operational readiness for the Telesales and Field Sales organizations. You will provide exceptional customer service to all internal staff and external customers. In this role you will contribute to some advanced processing, providing input on tactical and strategic needs, assisting in several projects that have direct customer, partner, and agent impact.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements, translating them into operational plans, projects, and enhancements that support the Telesales and Field Sales organizations
  • Acts in a subject matter expert role to others for interdepartmental team efforts, such as updates to the production systems and seasonal ramp planning
  • Serve as an additional level of support for our internal team members, partnering to drive program-level license, appointment, and access readiness
  • Regularly monitors readiness indicators and metrics including ready to sell, current service level agreements, and others, and then takes appropriate action
  • Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses
  • Along with business partners and reporting support, identify and champion end-to-end quality assurance efforts that minimize hassles for our business partners and rework for our team
  • Acts as a resource for others with less experience, providing training and mentorship to new team members, seasonal workers, and vendor partners
  • Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks
  • Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues
  • Acts as a team lead for process improvement initiatives
  • Ability to lead small teams and provide coaching and feedback as needed with some assistance
  • Perform other related duties as required to achieve the goals and objectives of the company and department

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • 4+ years of experience in a production or analyst role
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with insurance industry licensing requirements
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with process improvement

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
