Job Purpose: As a Budget Analyst at Aspire Health Partners, your job purpose will be to be an organized and highly motivated team player with strong initiative as well as excellent communication skills and good understanding of preparing and analyzing company/reporting units operating budgets.

Job Functions
  • This requires the ability to process a significant amount of information in detail as well as in the framework of the larger viewpoint concerning how services are delivered and business is conducted at Aspire Health Partners.
  • Must work with all levels of management to assist Director of Budgeting in leading all budgetary activities, both operational and capital budgets, to include planning, preparation, presentation, defense, and variance analyses of budget documents.
  • This position will be relied upon to assist when required in external monitoring activities, including pre and post monitoring activities, and independent audit preparation.
  • When requested to do so, assist in the month-end closing process, in the preparation of financial reports and in ad hoc reporting.
  • Mostly importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Position qualifications: Ability to receive and maintain a(n)
  • Ability to receive and maintain a Level II Background clearance
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver's license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.1
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, from an accredited institution preferably.
  • Experience required in preparing budgets and performing variance analyses.
  • 5 years' experience working in a health care or not-for-profit human services organization is preferred. Advanced degree preferred.
