BigBear.ai is hiring for a Budget Analytics Change Analyst to join our team in a client-facing role. As a member of our financial management team, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing financial processes, leveraging your expertise in SAP-FM, Qlik, Oracle, and Power BI.
This role is Hybrid/Remote (2 maybe 3 days in office) to customer Pentagon and/or Mclean, VA office locations. A Secret clearance is required; Interim Secret is acceptable to start.

BigBear.ai is hiring for a Budget Analytics Change Analyst to join our team in a client-facing role. As a member of our financial management team, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing financial processes, leveraging your expertise in SAP-FM, Qlik, Oracle, and Power BI.

What you will do
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their financial management needs, generate product roadmaps, and provide tailored solutions to address their requirements.
- Work with development team to translate requirements into usable products using financial data, identify trends, and create visually compelling reports and dashboards
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of dashboards/analytics, providing leadership and direction to developers and guidance and support to end-users.
- Assist in developing approaches, creating, and presenting PowerPoint presentations and facilitating meetings
- Conduct analyses of current applications in relation to user needs and identify potential areas for improvement. Provide ideas to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Plan, develop and implement an effective Change Management strategy to support user adoption of analytic tools and ensure community requirements are appropriately prioritized with development teams
- Develop training material and conduct end-user training to support user adoption of analytic tools
- Align goals, objectives, and strategic initiatives across analytical products and portfolios
- Deliver an effective Change Management Strategy to increase adoption of Advana tools and provide improved engagement with the Comptroller Program/Budget directorates and DoD FM Community
- With support of Product Lead and development team, update and deliver new capabilities for Program/Budget office and DoD FM Community
- Reducte manual work for the DoD FM workforce by using Advana more
- Lead weekly meetings, office hours, ad-hoc demonstrations, and training sessions
What you need to have
- Secret clearance is required; Interim Secret acceptable to start
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in DoD Financial Management, within DoD Headquarters or DoD Components
- Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Flexibility to work hybrid remote (Pentagon & McLean, VA)
- DOD or IC-related experience
What we'd like you to have
- Knowledge of Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI is a significant plus
- CSM, PMP, or other project management certification preferred
- Recent DoD experience, especially in Financial Management
- Experience working in an AWS environment
- Previous experience with Advana is a plus
