Procom, on behalf of our client, is seeking a skilled Building Engineer to assist in the efficient operation and maintenance of various building systems. The role requires expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs. Reporting to the HVAC Supervisor, this role will also involve the monitoring of Building Automation Systems (BMS).

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on building systems and equipment.
• Conduct repairs on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Respond to building emergencies and tenant service requests via YARDI.
• Interact with vendors and contractors professionally.
• Monitor mechanical areas and HVAC operations regularly.
• Replace lamps, inspect lighting, and maintain proper scheduling for exterior lighting.
• Perform general structural and landscaping inspections.
• Assist the Chief Building Engineer with system operations and preventive maintenance programs.
• Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team and Energy Team.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience as a Building Engineer, specifically with HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC building codes and systems.
• Strong math and troubleshooting skills.
• EPA Certification required.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial office buildings or similar environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with HVAC BMS controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
