Building Engineer

Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking an onsite Building Engineer for one of our largest clients in Columbus, OH. Our client is looking for the Building Engineer to be responsible for utilizing advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of the buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds. Working with the team they will need to monitor the building system operations and performance. They are looking for this person to utilize several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling. This client is looking for someone who is a critical thinker, someone who is self-motivated, can handle a fast-paced environment and can come in and hit the ground running.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Haves:
3+ years of experience within Maintenance or Industrial Systems
Understanding of building codes and regulations
Experience inspecting building systems and performing assigned repairs, emergency, and preventative maintenance.
Ability to review work orders, assist with installations and modifications of building equipment systems.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:
Universal CFC certification
