This position plays a crucial role in keeping hvac systems operating as designed, extending equipment life, and increasing efficiency. Will investigate complex system problems through component and system testing, BAS trending, analyzing data, and reviewing documentation. Corrects failures in mechanical, pneumatic, electric, and electronic systems and equipment related to building automation systems and associated control equipment on campus. Acts as a commissioning specialist in the recommissioning of campus buildings to improve efficiencies and optimize performance of mechanical systems. Assists with campus projects by reviewing design documents and providing recommendations. The pay range is between $56000 and $71000.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a closely related field.
- At least 2 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing building automation/hvac controls; and/or experience in building commissioning/recommissioning
- Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis, but not for the specific 2 years of experience.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with Siemens automation systems
