Job Summary

Under the direction of the Supervisor of Transportation, operates a school bus or transportation vehicle over designated routes within an established time schedule; transports students or school employees to and from school and on special event trips; performs daily inspections of a school bus or transportation vehicle and equipment; performs other related work as required.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Valid California Class A or B driver's license with appropriate endorsements.
• Valid California School Bus Driver's Special Certificate.
• Valid Medical Certificate approved by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Valid First Aid Certificate or successful completion of the CHP First Aid Test.
• Valid CPR Card.
• Maintain a clean driving record as per DMV standards.
• Participation in the District's Federally Mandated Drug and Alcohol testing program.
