This is one position with BOTH Bus Driver Sp. Ed. & Skilled Trades Worker I duties. The job of "Bus Driver" is done for the purpose/s of transporting students over scheduled routes and/or special excursions; enforcing rules, regulations, and laws to maintain safety during transport; ensuring vehicle is in a safe operating condition; and ensuring safety of students during transport, loading and unloading from buses. The job of "Skilled Trades Worker I" is done for the purpose/s of maintaining facilities in safe operating condition; maintaining a preventive maintenance program; documenting information; and resolving immediate operational and/or safety concerns.

Requirements / Qualifications

POSITION: Bus Driver Sp. Ed. / Skilled Trades Worker I (Primary duty is as Bus Driver with Skilled Trades Worker I support) LOCATION: To Be Determined WORK YEAR: 8 hours per day - 12 month per year SALARY RANGE: Step 22: $4,160.00 - $6,783.00 per month APPLICATION DEADLINE: Friday, September 27, 2024, no later than 4 pm *PRE-EMPLOYMENT SKILLS TEST REQUIRED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Job-related experience is highly desirable.
