The Amazon Delivery Central Operations team (AD CO) is looking for a Business Analyst to join the growing Tech and Product Strategy team. Last Mile operations is an exciting organization that specializes in fulfilling and delivering orders across Sub Same Day, Rural, Retail, Grocery, and many other networks to delight Customers around the world with delivery to their doorsteps.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining business data using strong quantitative skills. You will also build tools and support structures needed to convert data into actionable insights, deep dive root causes of operational issues or challenges, drive process improvements, build KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and metrics, and document systems and processes for internal publication.

Key job responsibilities

* Own the development and maintenance of new and existing solution artifacts which are focused on driving efficiency within the business via analysis, metrics, and reporting dashboards.

* Partner with operations/business teams to consult, develop and implement KPI's, automated reporting/process solutions, and process improvements to meet business needs.

* Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.

* Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support our business needs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

- Experience with SQL or ETL

- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI or other BI packages

- Experience using statistical tools such as Minitab

- Experience using very large datasets

- Experience creating complex SQL queries joining multiple datasets, ETL DW concepts

- Experience scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Perl, Ruby)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
