Business Analyst for MES

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Mettler-Toledo has started to harmonize globally the Production and Test System (PTS) software (Manufacturing Executions Systems, MES) at our manufacturing locations in China, US, Mexico, Switzerland, Germany, UK and the Netherlands. Therefore, we are extending our global PTS Competence Center Team by new members in the US.

We are looking for a PTS Business Analyst for MES for our new PTS Competence Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as the bridge between stakeholders and end users in the business units and the PTS Competence Center development team by gathering and understanding the needs of the business units.
• Gather functional and non-functional requirements in close collaboration with the business units.
• Work closely with the development team in the definition, refinement, implementation and testing of product backlog items.
• Create detailed user stories and acceptance criteria but also support testing against defined acceptance criteria on behalf of the Product Owner.
• Create training material and provide trainings to the PTS end user community.
• Identify, develop, and support business process change and collaborate closely with the Product Owner.

What You Need to Succeed

• Must have a bachelor's degree in business administration or business informatics or a similar education and at least 3 years of work experience in requirements management in collaboration with different teams or relevant education and process knowledge or work experience from the manufacturing environment.
• Should have a flair for IT and its increasing complexity.
• Experience within a manufacturing environment with its manufacturing processes is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability combined with good communication and presentation skills is required.
• Familiar with proactive leadership and teamwork with international teams and different cultures.
• Must be organized, structured, and self-driven person who knows how to drive projects to a successful objective
