Business Credit/Collections Specialist

Now Hiring for a Credit/Collections Specialist! Contract to Hire in Laurel, MD. Pay is between $24-27/hour depending on experience, hours are 8:00 - 5:00 Monday - Friday and is fully in office.

Responsibilities:

• Applies acceptable credit lines and payment terms to new customers and/or supplier accounts
• Must have business to business experience
• Collection and maintenance of customer accounts
• Follow up correspondence, resolution, and escalation of overdue accounts
• Researching credit history
• Performs regular review of customer accounts to manage risk
• Makes recommendations on bad credit line management

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1-3 years' experience
• Collections Experience Preferred - business to business
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Intermediate Excel)
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong mathematical skills
