Business Development Manager
American Cruise Lines, the world's leading small ship cruise line, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to build relationships with multiple travel agencies for our expanding fleet of riverboats and cruise ships throughout the United States. The Business Development Manager will be developing, maintaining the service travel agent business relationships across the fleet. The Business Development Manager will participate in the growth of travel agency revenues. While designing and implementing local marketing and promotional programs to achieve and maximize sales objectives. They will represent the company as the brand ambassador to create a positive perception and establish travel agent partnerships using a variety of strategies and innovative methods.

Responsibilities:
- Identify new opportunities for sales growth.
- Build and maintain business travel agency relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to create and deliver engaging presentations, both virtual and in-person
- Plan and execute sales calls.
- Represent the brand on familiarization cruises, cruise events, trade, and consumer shows.
- Excellent customer service skills, solving problems in a timely manner by using industry knowledge.
- Utilize existing data and reports to analyze and develop strategic plans for achieving goals.
- Analyze accounts' sales and marketing plans and Return on Investment (ROI).
- Create and execute promotional programs.
- Manages budgets, negotiates sales plans, and group contracts.
- Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant background and/or sales experience.
- Minimum 3 years sales, preferably in the travel industry.
- Must reside in the Northeast.
Work Schedule:
- 50% travel required.
