Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through new business acquisition, partnerships, and expanding our client base. Your focus will be on building strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other key partners, ensuring the hotel's continued success in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Business Strategies: Create and execute a business development plan to attract new clients and grow market share in key segments, including corporate, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), and leisure.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential business opportunities, including corporate accounts, group bookings, and event hosting, to increase room bookings and other hotel services.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, industry partners, and potential clients to maximize repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and revenue management teams to align business development efforts with overall sales goals and revenue targets.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare tailored proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with clients to meet or exceed sales and revenue targets.
  • Event and Promotion Planning: Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute promotional events, packages, and partnerships that drive business growth.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track, analyze, and report on business development activities, sales pipelines, and revenue outcomes to measure success and inform future strategies.


The salary range for this position is $48,000 to $52,000 annual

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, ideally within the hospitality or tourism industry.
  • Strong network within the corporate, travel, or event planning sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, and industry trends.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
