The Business Development Projects Assistant is an entry level position responsible for providing daily support to the Business Development team.

Responsibilities

· Update and maintain ranking content and ensure data and editorial changes are reflected in relevant submissions and marketing collateral.

· Coordinate across the department on the research process, including calendars, submissions, client references and scheduling interviews.

· Track and report results to the department and relevant leadership.

· Support in the coordinating content for directory responses, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

· Assist in developing and executing a strategic plan for the Firm's participation in key directories organizations.

· Build and maintain relationships with relevant researchers and publication editors.

· Perform other related duties as required.

Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree required. One to two years of law firm, professional services or business experience is a plus.
  • Highly organized with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Understanding of the pressures of working in a corporate environment and manages stress well.
  • Resourceful, driven attitude with a genuine desire and energy to use a “whatever it takes” approach to ensure team success.
  • Ability to work in an environment with shifting priorities to meet time-sensitive deadlines, as well as manage multiple projects simultaneously, including confidential matters.
  • Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate with team members across all levels effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work confidently and collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organization.

This is a hybrid role which requires in-office attendance in accordance with the schedule set forth by the department. A hybrid schedule is an essential function of this role.

Salary:
  • $65,000. Paul, Weiss offers competitive compensation and benefits packages. The firm considers a number of factors when determining compensation, including, but not limited to, education, years of experience, levels of experience, competency levels and other relevant skills and qualifications.
  • Overtime work is often required, including nights and weekends.
