Insight Global is seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join a client of ours team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the piping or construction field and a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with general contractors and construction organizations. This role requires a proactive approach to generating new business through networking and attending industry events.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, construction organizations, and other key stakeholders.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial piping sector.
Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences to promote our products and services.
Provide technical support and product knowledge to clients, ensuring they select the best solutions for their needs.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives.
Collaborate with the internal team to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience in sales within the piping or construction industry.
Strong network of contacts within the construction sector.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Willingness to travel 80-90% of the time
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
