Verily's Business Operations team is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Data Architecture Leader to join the team to help drive operational excellence throughout the company. In this mid-senior level role, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and helping maintain our financial data architecture and business intelligence (BI) systems while partnering with cross-functional teams to develop operational KPI Dashboards and Analytics that surface actionable insights that aim to continuously improve business performance, operational efficiency, drive Revenue Growth and Product Line and Corporate profitability.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of a robust and scalable data architecture for the Business Operations organization.
  • Develop and maintain data models, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with IT/Engineering teams to ensure the efficient integration of data systems.
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of BI tools and technologies.
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and other data visualization that surface operational insights and recommendations that aim to continuously improve our business process efficiency, Product Line P&Ls and Functional KPIs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to automate as much of the manual data analytics and reporting that is currently done across the organization to streamline operations and improve efficiency.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data modeling concepts, ETL processes, and data quality principles.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing financial and operational data solutions and Business Intelligence tools.
  • Excellent SQL querying skills - ready to mentor junior analysts in SQL optimization and best practices.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise language for business stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced with startup mentality: nimble, able to navigate ambiguity.
  • Experience with DBT.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $152,000 - $217,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
