Job Description

WebstaurantStore, a Clark Associates Company and the internet's largest restaurant supplier, is looking for candidates who love technology to join our growing company as a Business Intelligence Architect.

This is an opportunity with a fast growing company help build out our reporting and analytics platform. You will be working with developers, business analysts, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) experts on creating data warehouse, Azure data lakes, and tabular models using the latest versions of Microsoft SQL Server and Power BI. If you love taking data and turning it into insightful knowledge, this is the position for you!

Requirements:

• Strong Power BI/Tabular Model design and development
• Azure Platform development
• Data Modeling using Kimball data warehousing methodologies.
• SQL Server data warehousing design and development
• Understanding of OLTP Recordkeeping, ODS, MDM, Warehousing, and Data Lakes

Qualifications:

• At least 9 years of work experience in Data Modeling in the software industry.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technology-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) with a focus on data analysis, data structures, or data modeling.
• Expert-level analysis skills, including research, gap analysis, data mining, and data profiling.
• Solid understanding of data lineage and the ability to detail the flow of data from origination to consumption.
• Proven track record of solving real-world problems using a design-oriented modeling approach in large data warehouses, data marts, and analytics/reporting platforms.
• Understanding of modeling strategies (dimensional, relational, unstructured).
• Robust SQL experience, including designing new platforms on cloud technologies/architecture (e.g., Fabric/Azure).
• Proficiency with ERD/Data Modeling tools like Tabular Editor
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate and influence across all levels of the organization.
• Self-sufficiency, willingness to share knowledge, and a go-getter attitude.

Remote work qualifications
