Answer yes to any of these and you'll fit right in here at Amazon Robotics. We are a smart, collaborative team of doers that work passionately to apply cutting edge advances in robotics and software to solve real-world challenges that will transform our customers' experiences in ways we can't even imagine yet. We invent new improvements every day. We are Amazon Robotics and we will give you the tools and support you need to invent with us in ways that are rewarding, fulfilling, and fun.

Our Team

The Amazon Robotics Support Automation Systems (SAS) group uses data to inform automation efforts and improve supportability across the Amazon Robotics product portfolio. Our team discovers support cost drivers and uses this data to build tools and reports which automate manual processes for our support teams. We collaborate with software and hardware engineers and operations teams to understand priorities, make feature trade-offs, and build new tooling and automation capabilities. We conduct relevant, insightful analysis and communicate the results through white papers and reports. Our analytical methods include design of experiments, statistical modeling, machine learning, financial analysis, and data visualization. Our team also relies heavily on internal data engineering capabilities.

What You Will Do

As a member of the Foundational Data Services team within SAS, you will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams, program managers, and leaders throughout the organization to deliver projects aimed at understanding support cost drivers and finding new ways of reducing those drivers. In this role, you will use a combination of unified and disparate data sources to uncover insights delivered through decision-driving analytics white-papers and automated data visualizations to influence the development and deployment of automation solutions. You will collaborate with software engineers, technical program managers, and other business intelligence engineers to deliver world class results for our customers.

What We Are Looking For

Our team is looking for a data professional with a passion for delivering insightful and influential solutions to challenging and highly ambiguous problems. We are searching for a jack-of-all trades who can make use of skills across the data engineering, statistics, and data visualization domains to influence decision making and improve automation across the organization. We are seeking an individual who can think holistically through compound problems to understand how systems work together and find new opportunities for improvement.
