5+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining- - -Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

Job Description
They will be responsible for bringing data to the table, specifically customer and seller impact data, business metrics, and content quality.
These metrics will be the deciding factor in making business & product roadmap decisions.
The ideal candidate thrives in working in large and complex data warehouse environments, has excellent verbal and written communication skills, is motivated by developing innovative and simplified solutions to solve complex analytical problems using very large data sets and is passionate about working with large data sets and bringing data together to answer business questions and drive change.

They will:
• Engage with leadership and diversified customer groups to understand the needs and recommend business intelligence solutions.
• Partner with engineering teams to define the data elements and data structures that the team should leverage to develop critical content metrics to provide insights on quality, value, and impact.
• Design, implement, and support platforms that provide business teams ad-hoc access to large datasets for self-service deep dives (eg: data visualization tools for non-tech business users)
• Interface with business customers, gather requirements, and deliver complete reporting solutions.
• Own the design and development of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.
• Participate in strategic & tactical planning discussions by bringing the right data to the table
• Standardize data and report consumption across all our business groups.
• Make recommendations for new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve the operational and quality metrics.
