The Selling Partner Services Agent Development team is the training and development organization tasked with understanding the needs to hire and develop Global Seller Support Associates and Risk Investigators to support our Sellers, Vendors, and Buyers in our Amazon.com marketplace. The AD Optimization and Measurement (ADOM) team strives to ensure agents' capability to deliver the best outcomes for Amazon Sellers and Buyers by measuring and optimizing learning efficacy throughout their continuous development journey. We are a team of Researchers, Analysts, and Engineers who source and organize the right data to empower our learning experience designers and training partners to effectively measure and optimize the learner journey.

Candidate is an expert with data modeling, ETL design and business intelligence tools and passionately partners with the business to identify strategic opportunities where improvements in data infrastructure creates out-sized business impact. Candidate is a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big (while paying careful attention to detail), and enjoys working in a fast-paced and global team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field

- 4+ years of experience working with cross functional teams.

- Advanced experience with Business Intelligence technologies like Tableau, MicroStrategy, Quicksight, etc.

- Advanced experience in SQL

- Demonstrated strength in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing.

- Advanced expertise in Excel

- Experience operating highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets

- Strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively develop and communicate clear, thoughtful, and comprehensive analyses.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems and related field and 5+ years industry experience.

- Experience with programming tools (Python, R, etc.) to create custom applications based upon analytical needs.

- Experience in statistical analysis (e.g. ability to conduct analyses using regression, modeling, forecasting approaches, and related tools)

- Experience in managing and prioritizing a project backlog.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
