If you are looking to build a strong career, we have an opportunity for you! We are searching for a Business Intelligence Manager to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As a Business Intelligence Manager, you will play a crucial role in helping RCP make data-driven decisions by managing the processes and systems that collect, store, and analyze data. The Business Intelligence Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of multiple data sets that provide actionable insights to support strategic decision making. You will collaborate with the category management, marketing, sales, investor relations, and insights teams. You will have the opportunity to:
  • Strategic Planning
    • Develop and implement BI strategies aligned with RCPs goals across the Lead team, Business Units, Finance, and Investor Relations teams.
    • Identify opportunities to leverage data and streamline processes to drive business improvement.
  • Data Management
    • Oversee the coding and maintenance of Circana custom database.
    • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data and the availability and reliability of platforms and tools for all users.
  • Business Intelligence Development and Implementation
    • Collaborate with and support internal teams such as Finance, Investor Relations, Marketing, and Sales on syndicated data analytic needs to ensure delivery of actionable insights and KPIs.
    • Manage deployment of new data sets including ecommerce data analytics.
    • Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate BI systems with other business applications.
  • Analysis and Reporting
    • Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
    • Conduct in-depth analysis to drive actionable insights.
    • Manage and lead the tracking process for the Annual Market Research Budget process.
    • Manage the CMIA team SharePoint site.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and use of emerging technologies in business intelligence and analytics.
    • Develop new processes to improve BI capabilities.

We need you to have:
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years in a role analyzing data sets such as sales data, syndicated point-of-sale (POS) e.g. Circana, NIQ, Numerator.
  • Strong MS Office skills especially Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel (e.g., macros, VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams of all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
  • Experience with data visualization tools e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Icing on the cake:
  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Previous experience with eCommerce insights/analytics e.g., Profitero, Edge, Data Impact.
  • Experience with AI.
  • Previous CPG experience.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
