Description

Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Business Intelligence/Performance Analyst to work in our Performance Assurance Data Visualization and Analytics department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our REC- IRC facility in Idaho Falls, Idaho with every other Friday off.

As a Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Specialist, you will collaborate with diverse data analytics reporting teams to contribute to the design and implementation of analytics reporting dashboards at the laboratory. Data reports will primarily be designed and delivered using PowerBI and other Microsoft-based technologies. Remote or hybrid opportunities may be available.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Supports the facilitation of the issues management, management observation, and assessment processes and mines the associated data for trending, analysis and visualization development.
  • Review performance and operational data sources to identify risk to mission accomplishment. Work with leadership to both inform and mitigate identified risks.
  • Build BI and data analytics reports and visualizations for a variety of needs. Communicate with customers on requirements gathering, report building, and report deploying.
  • Coordinate prioritized work across a small team of report builders. Perform data modeling. Provide analysis of data reports to customers.
  • Responsible for work involving technical complexity and employs imaginative, efficient, data solutions. Conduct ongoing analysis of existing databases and tools to create simple and complex reporting and visuals.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • PR0300: Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 5 years relevant experience or an Advanced degree and 3 years relevant experience.
  • Experience with BI visualizations, esp. those that best represent data and overall dashboard design.
  • Design Power BI reports based off multiple data sets.
  • Maintain active Power BI reports.

  • Salary Grade: 210 - ($95,928 - $158,232)
