Clarification from the agency

Duties
- Provides daily direction, oversight and technical expertise for the development and execution of initiatives for Sports/Fitness, Recreation, and Revenue Generating programs as well as the associated management and resource support functions.
- Manages functions and operations of activities.
- Plans and coordinates details of events to include determining specifications and quantities of goods to order, manpower, space, facilities, food, and services.
- Oversees the development, coordination, implementation and reporting of management and operational metrics with linkage to above program objectives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation and physical exam.
- The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited agency is required.
- Incumbent must file a Confidential Statement of Affiliations and Financial Interest in accordance with the requirements of 5 CFR 2634.
- Occasional travel is required.
- Eligible for an Annual Incentive Plan NTE $10,000.00 (annually).
Qualifications
Standard Qualifications:
Demonstrated work experience in the following areas:
- Interpreting and assessing program financial performance using standard financial management systems.
- Interpreting balance sheet and profit and loss statement results.
- Working in various Sports/Fitness, Recreation, and Revenue Generating programs demonstrating increasingly responsible work experience across multiple program areas.
- Understanding of Army's Family, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (FMWR) and community, family support operating programs and their interrelationships and funding channels.
- Prior supervisory experience.
Highly Preferred:
- Do you have at least three (3) years' experience managing DoD MWR food & beverage programs?
- Do you have one (1) year of supervisory experience in government service?
- Do you have one (1) year of supervisory experience managing Non-Appropriated fund employees?

PCS Costs
- Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is in the Government's interest.
Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differential
- This is a pay-banded position.
- Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
- Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
Incentives and Bonuses
- Incentives may be paid.
- Relocation or Recruitment incentive or bonus in the amount of not to exceed $5,000.00 maybe authorized (with conditions).
Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances
- Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
