Job Title: Business Office Representative (Florida PACE Centers)

\r

\r

Job Summary

\r

This position is primarily responsible for managing incoming claims status inquiries, providing payment details (EOP). Answering emails from our Vendors and Providers, opening mail, mailing out checks and letters to Providers etc.

\r

Essential Job Functions

\r

  • Answering Phones and Emails: Respond to inquiries from healthcare providers and vendors, providing prompt and courteous assistance.
  • Billing and Invoicing Support: Generate provider payment details (EOP) and provide to vendor/provider requesting.
  • Reach out to Providers and Vendors to verify account information.
  • Manage and file paperwork related to client care, billing, and compliance including opening and distributing incoming mail. Complete scanning of documents to electronic sources.
  • Maintaining Client Records: Update and maintain accurate client records in the organization's database, ensuring privacy and compliance with regulations.
  • Attends bi-weekly meetings to verify status on upcoming tasks and projects.
  • Additional tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

Education:

\r

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree preferred
\r

\r

Experience:

\r

  • Minimum two years of experience in customer services in the medical field in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have experience handling a high call volume at different times of the day
\r

Licenses/Certifications:

\r

  • N/A
\r

Abilities Required

\r

  • Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word are essential
  • Must be able to work independently and have good organizational skills
  • Essential to have people skills to always maintain highest level of professionalism
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish reading, writing, and speaking in a professional manner
