As a Business Oriented Business Intelligence (BOBI), Reporting and Analytics, you will function as part of a team of business intelligence analysts who are at the forefront of a centralized global reporting and analytics function supporting Optum Health products. This position will be responsible for developing and managing reporting and analytics tools and resources that have a global impact on customer experience, business operations and strategic enhancements. As a valued member of the Optum Health team, you may make recommendations to leadership based on your analysis and provide explanations of reporting results as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with key functional leaders, reporting development teams and IT to develop and maintain a data management and reporting strategy for Behavioral Health products
  • Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements, identifying reporting impacts and implications
  • Identifies solutions, and business owners, to non-standard reporting requests and problems
  • Solves complex reporting gaps/problems and develops innovative solutions
  • Facilitates trend analysis and acts as a consultative resource to the functional business area
  • Provides BA support for reporting, trend, and analytical needs
  • Provides explanations and information to operations and reporting on challenging situations
  • Anticipates operational needs and proactively develops reporting solutions to meet them
  • Serves as a key resource on complex and/or critical reporting issues
  • Provides explanations and information to others on the most complex issues
  • Anticipates operational needs and proactively develops reporting solutions to meet them
  • Serves as a key resource on compliance and regulatory reporting requirements, needs, and solutions

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in reporting and analytics
  • Expert in Microsoft Tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Leadership experience within Optum & Optum Health
  • Experience with high visibility business analysis
  • Experience in AHA/CA Rally agile tools
  • Experience with HEIDIS and other compliance and regulatory needs
  • Experience with Behavioral Health

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
