Ideal Profile: Business side BA's with UAT testing and Managed Accounts experience. 

Wealth Management background.

Single Managed Account (SMA) experience will be highly preferred here. If candidates have that experience, it would be highly desired. 

If not, then Investment Management or similar experience will be next best.

Ameriprise is currently restructuring end to end testing groups, inside each team they do UAT testing.

 That being said, testing is still important but analytical skills will be more prioritized for these openings. 

 Looking for BSA’s that can think on their feet and deal with ambiguity.

Have a process background and can understand system integration

User Story Creation and Agile experience

Jira experience preferred

These BSA roles are to support Separately Managed Account work. Traditional BSA experience plus Wealth Mgmt/SMA experience required.

The purpose of this role is to act as the liaison between the business and IT organizations to provide business critical or complex technical solutions that meet user needs and improve business performance by providing the technical analysis of business requirements (including translation into functional requirements), problem solving and troubleshooting as part of a larger project team. 

Accountable for ensuring that clear, concise requirements have been captured. Participate in testing, drive issue resolution, support the implementation check-out process and develop all procedural documentation and manuals.

Responsibilities:

Understanding the business processes and the interdependencies of various systems in use. Facilitating interactive discussions with the business unit and technology teams in order to achieve alignment on defining requirements. 

Gathering, analyzing, documenting and translating business requirements into functional specifications that can be used to design and implement solutions to meet the business objectives. 

Managing the change control and traceability processes for requirements. Collaborating with architects to ensure alignment of requirements with system capabilities. 

Analyzing complex system and system-related problems for the business unit and making recommendations for improvements or new designs. Identifying potential solutions for the business and providing input into any risks and issues. 

Creating and implementing test plans (schedule, approach, cases, scripts and conditions, etc.), including production check out and measuring testing performance results. 

Ensuring the testing environment has sufficient test data to carry out the full test plans. 

Ensuring all quality standards and techniques are followed, including compiling and publishing artifacts and deliverables of the Ameriprise Project Management Methodology using the Capability Maturity Model integrated (CMMi) methods as required. 

Updating/creating user and technical documentation procedures and manuals, operational support documentation, and archival of project documentation. 

Identifying and communicating risks, issues and potential solution strategies along with providing status updates to the portfolio/project manager and/or senior leadership.

Integrated Experience team is one of the core teams helping to deliver an integrated offering inclusive of banking, payments, and software - making it easy for Small Business Customers to access the full suite of services we offer through a combination of digital and human capabilities. 

The candidate will be working along with fellow engineers to build digital products & modernization of business banking platform.

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis) As a Automation Engineer, you'll join a self-organizing team to design, build, deliver and maintain software in our banking platform. 

Together with your team members, you will be responsible for delivering Automation Strategy for end-to-end features, spanning from front-end to API implementation. 

Design, build, and maintain features end-to-end in the business banking platform. 

Build Automation Strategies using Automation frameworks. You would work with fellow Architects, Engineers to effectively plan and execute on new features with stability, scalability, testability, and performance in mind. 

You would contribute to the architecture of a complex online banking platform. 

You would be working on migrating Automation test suites to cloud platform. 

You would make decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront. 

Takes feedback from code review and apply changes to meet standards. 

Conducts code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures for Automation test suites. 

Accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices. 

Anticipates and communicates blockers and delays before they require escalation. 

You would ensure the delivery of a quality product. 

You would have opportunities to lead/collaborate with different teams. 

You would have opportunity to explore plethora of tool sets within U.S. Bank What skills/technologies are required (please include the number of years of experience required)? 

10 +yrs Build and maintain API and UI test automation frameworks, assisting development teams to catch issues in development and testing phase before pushing to production Work cross teams to understand testing requirements and create a comprehensive test plan and create automation and provide sign off and communicate it with stakeholders Be a champion having a test driven development mindset Lead the development of testing frameworks which can process and validate massive amounts of Data. 

Thus an experience of streaming platform like Kafka, Flink or equivalent is necessary. 

Lead the API driven testing experience. Expertise of working with HTTP API, such as REST, GraphQL or gRPC. Lead the UI driven testing experience in UI device/browser-based test automation using Testcafe or Cypress or java w/ Appium/Selenium What skills/attributes are preferred (these are a desired, not required)? Build Automation Strategies using Automation frameworks. 

You would work with fellow Architects, Engineers to effectively plan and execute on new features with stability, scalability, testability, and performance in mind. You would contribute to the architecture of a complex online banking platform.
