The Enterprise Finance Applications Team at Koch Global Services (KGS) is seeking a technical Business Systems Analyst to join our team to support leveraged, enterprise Koch Risk, Koch Investments Group (KIG), and Koch Capabilities Accounting (KCC Accounting) finance capabilities. This role will have a strong focus on data strategy and data architecture. You will be responsible for supporting business partners within these capabilities in areas of IT and general data strategies, API knowledge, and understanding of architecture to support applications for these capabilities. Additionally, you will provide execution support for projects, identify consumer experience process enhancements, and identify ways to improve and automate processes.

Our Team

The Enterprise Finance Applications team is a product centric organization that is aligned to Koch's key business areas. The Finance Technology team provides value-added strategic partnerships with other Koch companies in ownership and support of several key processes and platforms, including Source to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report, Treasury, Risk, Koch Investments Group, and Koch Capabilities Accounting. What You Will Do
  • Connect with the product team, key finance capabilities, and stakeholders to develop and maintain strong working relationships, optimize value, and internalize business strategies that support the finance capabilities and KGS visions. Actively listen and anticipate customers' future needs and incorporate into team strategies and priorities.
  • Strong focus on leading data architecture initiatives, creating and executing data product strategies, partnering with internal data management teams, ensuring data security and compliance, and prioritizing roadmap items.
  • Create and maintain structured data products in Snowflake where data can be accessed by tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, excel, etc. Additionally, collaborate with finance capability business partners to share knowledge and best practices around data products as well as highlight new tools and applications in the market
  • Leverage experience with API's, JSON, and Postman to streamline data flows, enhance system integrations, support API testing, and facilitate seamless connectivity with the finance capability applications while ensuring a robust and secure data exchange.
  • Partner with product team, global customers, vendors, consultants, and IT teams to transform, implement technology solutions, and lead projects that drive efficiency and automation of manual/inefficient processes.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience using data products to understand business needs and utilizing ETL processes to optimize data extraction (ie..Alteryx, Dataiku, Python), ensuring data quality and consistency across systems
  • Experience with Storage solutions (ie..AWS S3, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, SQL databases).
  • API and integrations experience.
  • Experience with file transfer applications (ie..MOVEit) and data visualization and BI tools (ie..Tableau, PowerBI).
  • Analytical experience, specifically having a curiosity mindset and asking good questions to dig deep into business processes to define business outcomes and develop solutions.
  • Solution architecture and database architecture experience.
  • Managing, prioritizing, and working simultaneously across multiple issues and concurrent projects.
  • Providing reasonable customer communications about delivery dates, updates and managing expectations.

  • Engaging with customers through soliciting, capturing, and critically thinking through requirements.
  • Experience working in Agile based methodology (Kanban, SCRUM).
  • Prioritization tools experience (ITBM ServiceNow).
  • Process mapping experience (leveraging tools such as Mural, MS Whiteboard, etc.).
  • Roadmaps and backlog maintenance experience.
  • Experience influencing and challenging peers and stakeholders to drive to common goals and solutions.
  • Experience partnering with global end users.
  • Passion to explore new tools and technologies.
