As a Business Systems Analyst, you'll be responsible for the formulation and definition of systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding. Using your knowledge of business systems and industry requirements, you will design and develop new systems or new ways to use existing systems to accomplish business objectives.

WHAT OUR BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYSTS ENJOY MOST
  • Analyzing business partners' operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes, functions, and systems
  • Assessing available technologies to create development specifications
  • Providing technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements
  • Overseeing implementation, coordinating tests, and observing initiation of the system to validate performance
  • Negotiating agreements by facilitating communication between business units from initial requirements to final implementation

On a given day you'll be conducting feasibility studies to assess cost/benefit, efficiency, and technical viability of solutions to business problems. If you're an organized, creative problem-solver, this could be the role for you.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications
  • Experience: Business Systems or IT related experience: 2 years or more
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Skills: Knowledge of applicable systems; Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products
  • Abilities: Plan, prioritize, and organize effectively; quickly identify business problems and provide solutions; analyze and interpret data; communicate effectively orally and in writing.
