Sr. Business Systems Analyst

Description

Medline Industries, LP Information Services department is seeking a web commerce analyst to join our E-Commerce technology team. This is an opportunity to be a part of the team responsible for the development and maintenance of medline.com. The business analyst has essential responsibilities that span operations and development of sites in the team's portfolio.

Qualifications

The challenging responsibilities of the position include:

Operational Responsibilitie

• Collaborate strategically to propose, research, estimate, and recommend technical innovations for b2b and b2c web commerce.

• Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issue

• Perform functional regression testing for production release

• Perform system configurations to enable a variety of business use case

• Respond to inquiries about system functionality

• Provide training and document system functionality

• Coordinate production release

• Set up monitoring and alerting for different services and micro frontends using App Insight

• Ability to use App Insights to debug alerts and monitor the application

• Ability to communicate with external customers to assist with support need

Development Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops/PI Planning Meeting

• Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies and follow Scrum/Agile Methodology

• Elicit high level business requirements/epic

• Gather requirements around micro service

• Specify requirement in regards to micro frontends and components of micro frontend

• Ability to run queries against a cloud DB - bonus if Cosmos DB

• Collaborate with development team to refine and expose low level detailed requirement

• Create detailed component level specifications for functional and technical component

• Create detailed test case

• Perform detailed functional testing

• Exposure to Bitbucket in regards to approvals for code merge

• Exposure to CI/CD pipeline and the ability to write stories on set up of CI/CD pipeline

• Execute performance testing for micro services using Radview Webload and micro frontends using JMeter

• Utilize Rigor and Lighthouse tools for UI Profiling

• Coordinate and prioritize individual deliverables with Product Owners/Stakeholder

• Adhere to IS Department policies best practices and work successfully within an iterative SDLC environment

• Ability to estimate project timeline

• Provide project updates to leadership concerning risks, impediments, road blocks, timelines and resource constraint

• Prioritize security vulnerabilities and utilize Prisma Cloud on additional details concerning security vulnerabilitie

• Must be able to collaborate with Enterprise DevOps and Cloud Team

Qualifications - External

Requirements include:

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a business analyst within an information systems or information technology organization.

• Experience organizing and leading effective requirements elicitation workshops.

• Experience producing detailed systems specification

• Experience with detailed functional testing

• At least intermediate level in the following technical skills: SQL/Access DB, Ad Hoc Data Analysis, HTML, Javascript, CSS, APIs, Microsoft Azure, Cosmos DB, Bitbucket, Prisma Cloud, Radview Webload, JMeter, Rigor and Lighthouse

• Experience with Oracle ATG Web Commerce or experience operating in the e-commerce platform. We are willing to train the right exceptional candidate for this specialized skill.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to the following technologies is a plus: SAP or other ERP, ETL, CommerceTools, WordPress, InRiver, Bloom Reach, Endeca, Talend

• 4 year degree (or higher) in CS, IS, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience.

• Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities within a fast-paced work environment

• Must be highly motivated and dependable with excellent communication and collaboration skill
