About Us:

The Office of HR Operations is within the DAS State Human Resources Division (SHRD) and serves as the focal point for all enterprise human resources operations including the administration of payroll, state services, records, and Drug-Free Workplace. This office also serves as front-line support for all customers of the OAKS HCM module and provides planning, design and configuration functions for enterprise-facing HR systems.

The Applications and Reporting group provides issue triage, planning, design, testing, reporting, configuration functions, guidance and support for multiple enterprise facing human resources programs which include payroll, time and labor, Kronos, position management, position description, ADA accommodation tracking, ePAR, HR core functions, benefits, disability, Ohio Learn, ePerformance, Taleo Recruit and HR system security approvals.

W hat you will be doing:

Under direction of the Senior Business Transformation Analyst provides support across all HCM modules (HR, Payroll, Time & Labor, Benefits, Security), & Oracle Cloud applications Taleo Learn & Taleo Recruit:
  • Acts as liaison to OAKS for the Human Resources Division;
  • Provides functional guidance in planning, coordinating & maintaining OAKS HCM for all HCM modules & Oracle Cloud recruit & Learn software;
  • Assists supervisor with project test plans;
  • Identifies potential business improvements;
  • Works with Application & Reporting Team (ART) to provide production support & maintains contact with other DAS HRD divisions to ensure OAKS is meeting expectations;
  • Assists with configuration & customizations needed (e.g. gathering requirements, design, working with Service Assurance & Managed Services, testing, deployment, production support & change management);
  • Assists cross functional application team efforts (e.g., contract changes, tax updates, bundles, creates plans/timelines, assistance with gathering requirements & design);
  • Validates state's requirements for improved business processes;
  • Analyzes & defines requirements & business rules to facilitate statewide process design.

Qualifications
MINIMUM CLASS QUALIFICATIONS FOR EMPLOYMENT:

Completion of undergraduate core coursework in business administration, public administration, information systems, engineering, or comparable field; AND 2 years experience in business process transformation, organizational design, strategic human capital management &/or business process reengineering, (*)Developed after employment.
