The Opportunity

Munich Re Specialty Insurance is hiring a Transformation Manager focused on Delegated Authority

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and lead transformation initiatives acting on-behalf of executive sponsors for projects or programs assigned.
• Lead process and technology transformation projects guiding internal and external Consultants, Analysts, and Business Colleagues in successful development and delivery of agreed project deliverables for internal and external Clients
• Lead projects that may be related to target operating model design, process design, process and technology maturity assessments, benchmarking, automation potential assessment, solutions implementation, change management and similar. Support Business Unit solution process, acting as a cross stream Transformation Lead or specific tower Solution Lead
• Apply in practice different process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, 5 Senses of Intelligent Automation, Design Thinking) within or outside of their area of expertise for the continuous improvement and transformation purposes
• Operate as Subject Matter Expert, recognized as a "guru"/expert in application of process specialism. Keep abreast of technological developments, their strengths and weaknesses and suggest process and technology related improvements within the given area of expertise
• As a Business Leader you will have full accountability of outputs for project deliverables including but not limited to documentation, potential improvements and benefits, and for reporting out on business case and ROI attainment as required
• Resolve issues throughout the product development process to ensure the project team continues to move forward
• This is both a contributor and people management role, with Business Analysts reporting to them

Required Capabilities:

• Exceptional Communication (Oral, Written, and Presentation) skills
  • "Get it Done" attitude supported through respectful, thorough, and thoughtful message delivery
• Extensive Lean Sigma or similar process design experience with proven success going from current state documentation and opportunity identification through change and return on investment evaluation
• Extensive experience in operating model and process design (process flows, narratives, operating procedures, control frameworks) and documentation preparation using Visio (or similar application)
• Proven experience in creation and implementation of new solutions within expertise domain
• Continuous Improvement and Innovation mindset and experience with proven benefits delivered (ROI measurement mentality)
• Ability to create the process, technology and organizational solutions including the business case for change and articulate it clearly in the form of presentation.
• Experience convincing Internal and External Clients for different types of solutions
• Possible rephrase: Experience in leading trainings, workshops or venue type presentations with 25+ people. At least 3 years of experience as the Project Stream Lead, Solution Lead or Project Manager
• Proven transition and change management experience as a Change Manager or Transition Manager
• Excellent time management and organizational skills including
  • Ability to effectively manage major, concurrent projects and meet deadlines;
  • Strong time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills;
  • Very strong problem-solving skills and Business Acumen.
  • Excellent, professional, and respectful communication skills with the ability to summarize information for strategic decision-making into clear and concise presentations and reports

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• 8+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
• Proven experience (at least 10 years) with very strong end to end process re-design knowledge in one or more of the following area(s):
